New School in Aworowa, Ghana

For the past 6 months, I have been working on providing funds to build a new kindergarten and first grade classroom for the Methodist School in Aworowa, Ghana. Our mission team did a round of fund raising and I am happy to report that construction is nearing completion. In fact, classes will begin in a few weeks. All that is left to do is put in some doors and windows, paint the walls, bring in desks for the students and teachers, and wait for smiling faces to show up to learn. There is no electricity but natural light from open windows allows education to begin. Classes are taught in English even though the most commonly spoken language is Akan. Our mission team is very excited to see this completed project and looks forward to seeing it in December of 2019. If you ever want to go along as a missionary, please contact me.
