A visit to God’s Window is a perfect way to end a safari to South Africa. On each of my safaris, a stop at God’s Window offers participants an opportunity to finish some roadside shopping, hike up the steps to the top of a viewing area and visit a tropical rainforest. God’s Window allows people to see across a valley towards distant mountains. The mountains look close but they are actually 30-40 miles away. At the top of the viewing area a tropical rainforest grows unusual plants and flowers. It is an easy hike to the top but well worth the effort.
