Bird Watching Weather

As it's warming up it's time to pull out the binoculars and watch for these beautiful birds! No matter where you are there's always a surprise in the sky.
I was sitting in my kitchen watching the birds at my bird feeders with snow coming down in big flakes when I suddenly realized it’s summer in South Africa. I looked up the temperature in Kruger National Park‑88 degrees Fahrenheit. In Stevens Point, Wisconsin it’s a balmy 23 and darn cold. August trips to South Africa during their winter days are frequently in the mid 70’s with lots of sun. Evenings are sometimes cool enough where a jacket and light gloves feel good. A wool sweater was just the ticket. Leaves are off many of the trees making animal sitting easier seeing animals is easier. Bird watching is a wonderful sight to see. Consider a trip to South Africa in August or September and enjoy the weather.
